Records

American Records are live.

  • American Records can be set and broken at this meet. This is the only California meet outside Collegiate where that is true.
  • State Records can be set and broken.
  • National-or-higher referees are on platform for all AR attempts.
  • An AR intent form is required before the meet. We use the USAPL standard form.
  • A designated national referee reviews every AR attempt.
  • No Jury.

Miscellaneous info and reminders

The current USAPL rulebook governs the meet. A few items lifters most often forget:

  • Deadlift socks required. Socks must cover the entire shin.
  • Bar-dumping is an automatic ejection. Control the bar all the way down.
  • One-minute attempt selection. Attempts must be submitted in kilograms within one minute of your previous attempt. Default behaviors apply if you miss the window.
  • USAPL waiver required. All lifters, loaders, spotters, platform workers, and referees must sign the USAPL JotForm waiver.
  • Active USAPL membership required. Memberships are verified one month before the meet.
  • Team awards. Open only to officially registered USAPL teams.
